How to reset att net email password?


If you don’t know the password and not able to sign in
If you freshly changed the password for your AT&T User ID, try to sign in to your email using that new password. If that doesn’t work, try resetting your password:
1.                   Go to Myatt.
2.                   Choose Forgot Password?
3.                   Complete the password info.
4.                   Select security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts.
5.                   If you select a temporary password, they’ll allow you to know where sent it.
6.                   Create a new password.

If you have shared password for AT&T user ID and AT&T email
1.       The password will be the exact same on att.com and att.net.
2.       You can sign in with your user ID or email address to run your account or check your email.
3.       If you change your password, it changes for both your user ID as well as also your email address.

Create a new password

If you forgot your ID and password
1.       Select Forgot ID? Then User ID & Password
2.       Type your contact email address.
3.       If prompted, select how you want to receive your ID.
4.       Type the user ID that was sent to you.
5.       Choose a short-term password or security questions and follow the directions.
6.       If you choose a temporary password, type the password you received.
7.       The temporary password page will notify you where the password was sent.

Note: If you don’t know your contact email address or they don’t recognize it, Select Forgot your contact email? And type your info. You can also do this to notice your AT&T email login address.
If you've several IDs that use the same contact email address, your Forgot ID notification will list them all.

If you know the password but want to change it
For security reasons, it’s the best idea to change your password on a regular basis. You can do this on Myatt.
1.                   Go to your Sign-in info.
2.                   Select Change password.
3.                   Enter and save your password info.
