HOW TO TRACK YOUR DATA USAGE ON AT&T’S WEBSITE
I think the best and most easy way to check your data usage for your iPhone is to check it directly from AT&T’s website. You will get a nice graph showing the last 6 months of data activity, making it clear for you to see when and on what you used through your 3G or EDGE data connection.

This graph doesn’t include all data transferred over Wi-Fi network connections as this is not part of your AT&T data plan. That means you will never be charged for downloading/uploading as much as you want from your iPhone over Wi-Fi.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR DATA USAGE WITH AT&T'S MY WIRELESS APP
AT&T has a free app in the App Store named myWireless which gives you important information such as how many voice minutes or SMS you’ve used, the app will also let you see how much data you’ve used for the current billing period. I think that’s a great way to track your AT&T data usage on the go directly from your iPhone.

I like the myWireless app provided by AT&T. It is easy to use and simple and you can also pay your bill from your iPhone with the app. I suggest it a must-have app. With AT&T, you can monitor and track your data usages in different ways. Here are a few of those options:

1.     Check for Usage Alerts occasionally and regularly. You can have periodic updates on your mobile sent via text and email after a certain percentage of the monthly allowance has been used up (65%, 90%, and 100%) by AT&T.

2.     You can also track your ATT data usage by checking your MyAT&T account online occasionally. Set up an account on MyAT&T by going to att.com and click on myAT&T at the top, then log in. Head to the Account Summary page and click on the Usage & Recent Activity to track your AT&T data usage. With Star Service, you can track your AT&T data usage quickly and easily from your mobile. You just need to dial star services from your AT&T wireless phone just like you're making a call and AT&T’ll text the data info to you.
